Every Formula product is designed, assembled and shipped to our customers directly from the Formula factory in Prato. Formula has more than 300 partner companies that carry out a large part of our production, under the close supervision of our Technical Department. Those elements requiring the most delicate workmanship are manufactured directly at Formula in Prato, using specialized machinery designed and realized by Formula's experts.
Most Formula partner companies are located in the industrial districts near Bologna and Florence, although some of them are situated throughout Italy, with a very small proportion located elsewhere in the EU.
A wave of growth in the last years has given us the ability to relocate into a new two-storey building. Its 2,500 square meters allow the various departments of our company to co-exist easily, starting from "Research and Development" all the way to "Shipping" of the finished products, passing through the "Assembly" of single parts and the complete "Manufacture of disk brakes".
A new manufacturing plant of 2700 square meters is going to be ready and it will be the centre for all the mechanical working that Formula develops to improve his innovation and quality policy.
Formula employees work in a technology driven environment, allowing them to enhance production in terms of quality and quantity. Constant monitoring of every process both inside and outside the company has assured high quality standards which allowed us to obtain UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 quality certification (TUV Italia), a further assurance of high quality for Formula clients and our internal staff.
